Caring Hands is working hard to change the lives of tribal children by giving them a chance to study. At Mahadevi Vidyalaya, our school in Andar Maval region, we teach students in 8th, 9th, and 10th grades. Right now, 62 students are learning and growing through our efforts to provide both education and activities that help them in every way.

A School That Makes a Difference

Mahadevi Vidyalaya is the only school available for tribal children in the area. The next school is more than 15 kilometers away. Even with many challenges, we keep the school running so these kids don’t miss out on their education.

Facing and Overcoming Challenges

We deal with many problems, like lack of funds and finding teachers willing to work in this remote area. But we carefully choose teachers who are truly passionate about teaching these kids. Without this school, boys might still manage to travel for education, but for girls, it would be very hard. Most families would not allow them to travel far, and they might end up staying at home, getting married early, or moving to big cities to work as maids or in factories.

Helping in Every Way

We know the families of these children struggle financially. That’s why we make sure education is affordable for them. We also provide small but important things like water bottles, socks, and hair ribbons so that students don’t feel left out.

Preparing for a Better Future

We don’t stop at just teaching. After 10th grade, we guide students to continue their studies in cities and help them choose careers like engineering, fashion designing, or whatever their desired line is. We motivate them to learn new skills so they can earn money while studying and become independent in the future.

Caring for Their Health

Apart from education, we look after the students’ health too. This ensures they stay healthy and ready to learn and grow. At Mahadevi Vidyalaya, we want every child to have a chance to dream and achieve their goals. By focusing on education, especially for girls, we’re helping create a brighter and more equal future.
